Abstract

The notebook documents the field notes by Vitaliy Kontorschikov during his field trip to Yenisey during June of 1993. This documents work with Russell Greenberg relating to the study of birds in arboreal habitats. The field notes begin with the point counts at location Mirnoye on the 7th of June, 70° from village. Some locations specified include left bank of Yenisey, Taiga; islands Vampeev, Elovoy, and Kasovskiy; rivers Samriha and Proklyataya; and villages Phomka, Novoyarchevo. Notes are recorded as observation data, which provides information about date, location, time, type, sex, characteristics and measurements about birds. Some entries include description of area vegetation and bird habitat. There is an insert with contact information inside of the field note. Text is in Russian and English.
