Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of Russ Greenberg in Canada during June 18 - 28, 1994. He was studying the birds and vegetation of Canada's Northwest Territories. Entries vary in structure and content. Some are dated, headed with location information (e.g. landmarks, habitat), time of day, followed with observation notes. These are often lists providing a breakdown of area vegetation per numbered location. This usually involved percentage of tree type in location (e.g. spruce or aspen). Other entries describe quantity and type of bird in types of trees. Includes botanical and entomological specimens.
