Abstract

The field data sheets document the field work of Child for station 120 to 219 for 1974 - 1982. Specimens collected were marine invertebrates. Most sheets include: location, date, field no., time, sta. no., coll. by, latitude and longitude, locality, ecol. habitat, dist. shore, depth capture, method capture, and general notes. The document relates to accession number 311492 at Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History. The following accession numbers are indicated as well: Papua New Guinea (1980) relates to acc. 341155, Saudi Arabia (1982) to acc. 351655, Rarotonga refers to acc. 332848. General notes includes information about types of fauna present, about specimens including appearance and identifiers, habitat, collecting conditions, and personal observations, and occasionally contact information. Locations are in but not limited to: Guam, Palau Islands, Belize, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and Saudi Arabia.
