Abstract

The field notes document the work of M. L. Jones in Bermuda, Belize, and Florida during 1965 – 1967, 1975-1977, and 1981-1982. Entries vary in format and structure and appear to document multiple trips. Some entries include date, location information (landmarks and latitude and longitude), followed by lists of observation data of specimens and habitat. Other entries includes lists of description with time of day, or description of specimens per station location. Some entries contain sketches of locations. These trips include travel on the USNR USS Denebola to St. Thomas and Ft. Lauderdale from Norfolk VA (1967); Bermuda August – 1975 (Acc. Number 317821; travel to Belize in 1976 (Acc. Number 322109) and 1977; Bermuda 1979, 1981; Florida in 1982. Includes multiple maps and loose inserts. Accessions are at Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History.
