Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1693 documents sea bottom specimens collected in Maine (Grand Manan Channel, Quoddy Head to Libby Island) during August 9 - September 15, 1886. Lieut. John M. Hawley, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The data provided includes date, section no., locality which includes latitude and longitude with minutes and seconds, fathoms, appearance, and box no.
