Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of Russ Greenberg in Chajul, Mexico, during August 18, 1990 - March 1991. Entries vary in content and structure. Some contain lists of bird observations, insect counts for types of birds (e.g. yellow warbler), notes on vegetation diagrams and notes documenting bird movements along with notes indicating bird characteristics (e.g. sex). Other entries contain extensive descriptions with abbreviations, also listing weather and time of day. Appears many of the observations document birds' foraging habits.
