Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1596 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from off the coast of Louisiana and Texas, March 19 - June 16, 1884. Lieuts. E. D. F. Heald and G. C. Hanns, U.S.N., were commanding the party. The table of data includes date, section number, locality with latitude and longitude including minutes and seconds, and fathoms.
