Abstract

The black-and-white photographs were taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1965-1966, 1968. The photographs depict Gray-backed tern, young, chicks, eggs, and birds in flight. Locations include Birnie Island, Laysan Island, Lisianski Island, McKean Island, and Whale Island. Many photographs have brief captions included on the reverse.
