PrintThe five pages of slides document the field work by Horton H. Hobbs during 1975. Images show crayfish, usually alive, shortly after they were collected. Slides contain captions that vary in detail, but usually list: slide number (e.g. 1975-1-2); field number (e.g. 6-1475-1); USNM number (e.g. 146852); scientific name; county and state; sometimes sex and collector. Captions also sometimes list if specimen is a type or paratype. Locations are primarily in Georgia. Also includes an envelope of notes that describe photographs taken, organized by roll number.
