Abstract

The four pages of slides document the field work by Horton H. Hobbs during 1973. Images show crayfish, usually alive, shortly after they were collected. Slides contain captions that vary in detail, but usually list: slide number (e.g. 1973-7-5); field number (e.g. 4-1873-5); USNM number (e.g. 144651); scientific name; locality; county and state; sometimes sex and collector. Will also sometimes list if specimen is a type or paratype. Locations are primarily in Alabama, Arkansas, and Georgia. Notes indicate some photographs were taken by K. Sandved and R. S. Simmons.
