Abstract

The seven pages of slides and notes document the field work by Horton H. Hobbs during 1972. Images show crayfish, usually alive, shortly after they were collected. Slides contain captions that vary in detail, but usually list: slide number (e.g. 1972-1-10); field number (e.g. 6-1272-1); USNM number (e.g. 144162); scientific name; county and state; sometimes sex and collector. Will also sometimes list if specimen is a type or paratype. Locations are in the southeast United States including Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee; Lake Kutubu, New Guinea. The notes include descriptions of photographs taken listed by roll number.
