The materials document the field work on crayfish by Horton H. Hobbs during 1982. Includes a list of collections needed; receipts, field note sheets, and drawings with notations. The data sheets list: no. (e.g. 4-1282-1); co. & state; drainage; loc. [locality]; water, flow, width, bottom; vegetation; shore; weather; time; capture; det. [determination] with USNM number; and coll. [collectors] English and Hobbs. Relates to accession number 347083 at Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History. Contains additional notes about travel details, photographs taken, specimen appearance; and habitat. There are copies of crayfish with detailed notations about appearances.
