PrintThe materials document the field work on crayfish by Horton H. Hobbs during 1979-1980. Contains an envelope with a map, notebook, and notes from a trip to Georgia March 31 - April 10, 1979 with Daniel F. Peters, Jean E. Pugh, and Dubois. Notes list date, destination, time of arrival and departure, and mileage. The notebook contains dated entries about travel and stops. The map contains route notations. Field note sheets list collecting details for May 1979 - April 1980. They contain: no. (e.g. 5-2179-1); date; co. & state; drainage; loc. [locality]; vegetation; shore; weather; time; det. [determination] sometimes with USNM numbers; coll. [collectors] which also lists Hall. There are additional notes about travel, environment; crayfish behavior; and specimen appearance. Locations also include South Carolina.
