Abstract

This black-and-white photograph was taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1964-1967. The photographs depict Wedge-tailed shearwater in flight and at rest; and Wedge-tailed shearwater colonies, chicks, and nests. The photographs were taken by A. B. Amerson, R. Clapp, P. C. Shelton, P. Gould, and D. Marshall. Locations include Southeast Island, Pearl and Hermes Reef, Taongi Atoll, and Lisianski Island. Brief captions are included on the reverse sides of several of the photographs.
