Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1531 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from the Gulf Stream between Nantucket and Cape Henry, July 16 - August 24, 1882. Com'd'r. J. R. Bartlett and Lt. Com'd'r. W. H. Brownson, U.S.N., were commanding the party. The table of data includes date, section number, locality including longitude and latitude with minutes and seconds, fathoms, and appearance.
