Abstract

The data sheets document the field work of Horton H. Hobbs during 1950 - 1952. There are two sets of data sheets. The first grouping lists information in fields: survey (state); drainage; coll. no (e.g. ECR 2002); locality; county; water (description), flow, width, vegetation, bottom, current; distance from shore, temperature (air and water); time; weather; depth of capture; method of capture; date; collected by; orig. preserv.; time; and general notes. Locations are in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. The second grouping lists information in the following fields: cat. no.; county and state; locality; water (description), flow, width, depth, pH, temp., bottom, vegetation; shore; air temp.; weather; time; method of capture; collected by; and general notes. Locations includes Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.
