Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1464 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens off Matagorda and St. Joseph's Islands in Texas, April 12 - June 22, 1880. Lieut. U. Sebree, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, section number, locality, including latitude and longitude with minutes and seconds, fathoms, and appearance. A note at the bottom states that some specimens were sent to the American Museum of Natural History.
