Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1459 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from San Nicholas Island in California, August 16 to September 17, 1879. E. H. C. Luetze, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, locality, fathoms, and appearance.
