Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1456 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from Raleigh and Onslow Bays; New River Inlet to Barren Inlet [mason Inlet] in North Carolina, April 2 to May 11, 1880. Lieut. E. B. Thomas, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, locality, including latitude and longitude with minutes and seconds, fathoms, and appearance. There is a note at the bottom about specimens.
