Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1427 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from off Matagorda Peninsula and Pass Cavallo in Texas, March 27 to June 18, 1879. Lt. Com'd'r F. T. Jewell, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, section number, locality, fathoms, and appearance.
