Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1414 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from Santa Catalina Island in California, December 27, 1877 to August 27, 1878. G. W. Coffin was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, locality, fathoms, and appearance. At the bottom is a note to see hydrographic sheet 1413.
