Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1404 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from the east and west of Point Mugu in California, 1878. Lt. E. H. C. Luetze, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes locality, fathoms, and appearance. At the bottom is a note stating to see hydrographic sheets nos. 1403 and 1405.
