Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1378 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from the sea appraoches to the Columbia River Bar of Oregon and Washington. Comd'r G. W. Coffin, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, section, locality, fathoms, and appearance. Also includes a table of specimens listing no of specimen, day letter, depth of water, character of bottom, angle, and remarks.
