Abstract

The hydrographic sheet documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from George's Shoals, Gulf of Maine, 1877. Robert B. Platt, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, section, locality including latitude and longitude with minutes and seconds, fathoms, and appearance.
