Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1371 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from the eastern approached to Point Arguello and Santa Barbara and western approaches to Point Conception in California, 1877. Lieut. F. Courtis, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes locality, fathoms, and appearance.
