Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1079 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from the Pamplico Sound and Cedar Island Bay and vicinity, North Carolina, September 24 - 25, 1870. Notes were recorded by F. F. Nes. The table of data includes date, section number, locality (including latitude and longitude with minutes and seconds), fathoms, and appearance. Note states to also see hydrographic sheet no. 1056.
