Abstract

This item is primarily comprised of correspondence related to Little's collection efforts in Colombia in 1945 while he was employed by the Foreign Economic Administration. The correspondence includes a memorandum from William R. Maxon to LIttle with a list of fern identifications dated March 14, 1946. This includes specimens with in the range of specimen no. 8230-8430. The item also includes correspondence between William A. Archer and Little from 1949-1951 and specimen labels pertaining to fern specimens collected in Neiva Huila.
