Abstract

The field book covers the work of Donald F. MacDonald in Chiriqui and Veraguas provinces in Panama, as well as Culebra Cut, during February to September 1913. There are notes inside the front cover about shipments of rock and fossil samples. Some entries are dated and contain drawings of terrain and canals, detailed lists of geological characteristics,and lists of expenses. Also includes narrative style entries discussing travel details, daily work, and geological sections.
