Abstract

This volume documents field work of Rector D. Mesler in Virginia, May 28 - July 2, 1918. Entries are dated and narrative in structure. They include travel details, description of work completed, samples taken and their characteristics, observations of terrain, and geological characteristics. May include details about water samples taken. Many of the localities described include wells and water levels.
