Abstract

The volume documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in Virginia, June 28 - August 4, 1932. Includes multiple inserts of printed maps with hand colored notations. Contains entries that are dated, headed with location, and narrative in structure. They describe the physiography of Little Stony Creek, as well as entries describing daily work, weather, travel details, geological sections, observations of terrain with drawings. In the back of the notebook is an index of specimens.
