Abstract

The volume documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in Tennessee, including Murfeesboro section during July 20, 1890; vicinity of Jasper during August 7 - 22, 1911; and Calhoun during November 2, 1918, and May 24, 1920. The notebook begins with a typed index listing location and page number. Entries are sometimes dated and headed with location. They include narrative descriptions of travel details, work completed, geological sections, elevations with notes, and descriptions of geological characteristics of terrain. Includes pasted inserts.
