Abstract

The volume documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in Appalachian sections, during 1906. The notebooks begins with a typed index listing location and page number. Entries are sometimes dated and headed with location. They contain narrative descriptions of travel details, geological sections, and colored drawings with notes detailing terrain's geological characteristics. There are pasted inserts. Locations are in West Virginia.
