Abstract

The volume documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in the Appalachian Valley, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908. Inside the front cover is an itinerary for travel June 1905. The notebook begins with a typed index listing location and page number. Entries are frequently dated and headed with location. They include a combination of geological sections, elevations with detailed notes, and narratives describing travel details and work completed. Also includes description of fossils present. . Includes numerous pasted inserts. Locations are throughout Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.
