Abstract

The volume and inserted hand-drawn maps documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in Mississippi Valley sections, 1903; Thebes and Cape Girardeau visit, 1907. The notebook begins with a typed index listing locations and page numbers. Entries are sometimes dated, and include detailed descriptions of geological characteristics of strata as well as presence of fossils. Many entries contain geological sections and drawings with notes. Also contains multiple pasted inserts. Locations are in Missouri .
