Abstract

The volume documents William Healey Dall’s work on the schooner “Yukon” for the USGS, along the coast of Alaska territory, April 28 – November 6, 1873. Entries are dated and contain tables of data relating to time, bearing, air temperature, water temperature. Also includes narrative descriptions of daily work, travel details, weather, and observations. The volume ends with an index listing location and page number.
