Abstract

The loose sheets document the field work of Robert J. Horodyski in Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, and Wyoming, June 25 to August 12, 1978, while working at the University of Notre Dame. Entries include details about expenses per day, travel details, photographs taken (location and subject matter listed by roll), lists of description per identifier (RHG-901 to RHG-959), specimens, descriptions and location of Appekunny pseudofossils, geological sections, and descriptions of stromatolites. Notes describing geological characteristics of location are often headed with location information and elevation. Most geological description relates to Glacier National Park in Montana.
