Abstract

The loose sheets document the field work of Robert J. Horodyski in Montana, August 3 to September 8, 1974, while he worked for the University of California, Los Angeles. Entries vary in content and structure. Some contain routes described with location, time of day, and mileage. Other entries are dated and include short descriptions of daily activities; geological sections with notes headed with name of peak or pass; and descriptions of stromatolites (measurements) and their locations, as well as tables of data (color frsh, color weath., lith, molar tooth, calc pods, bedding thickness, shrin cracks, oolites, other). Locations are across Glacier National Park.
