Abstract

This item is primarily composed of a list of specimens within the specimen number range of no. 20501-20900. Dated entries consist of specimen no., typically include genus and species, and locality of collection is described by nearby place name. Annotated drafts and final copy are included. An duplicate of the list can be found in Box 1 Folder 3 of the Cinchona Project collection. One annotated draft of the specimen list is typed on the back of United States Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Plant Industry stationary with a multiple copies of the same letter by B.Y. Morrison, head horticulturist of the Division of Plant Exploration and Introduction. The Morrison letter is addressed "To Experimenters Cooperating with the Division of Plant Exploration and Introduction". Also included in this item is correspondence between F.R. Fosberg and J.A. Stevenson regarding Fassett collections from October 19, 1945.
