Abstract

The field book documents the work of Robert Neuman in northern Maine, July 30, 1958 - September 7, 1959. The entries are dated and headed with location. They include notes on terrain, weather, individuals with whom worked, location information (landmarks, distance from) descriptions of geological characteristics of strata, fossils present, colored drawings, and samples collected. Locations include but not limited to site ins Aroostook and Penobscot County.
