Abstract

The field book documents the work of Robert Neuman at Chilhowee Mountain, April 2 - May 13, 1952. The volume is tabbed. Entries are dated and describe location (landmarks, distance from), terrain, geological characteristics (color, composition, measurements, minerals present), geological sections, specimens collected, and presence of fossils. At the back of the volume is a color key for abbreviations.
