Abstract

The notebook documents the work of Druid Wilson in Georgia, 1952, 1958-1959, 1961, 1966. The volume begins with a table of contents listing year, location identifier (e.g. G-62 to G-65) and page numbers. Also lists which identifiers have not yet been cataloged. Also includes a temporary index listing location. Entries vary in length. They are organized by location identifier, followed by location description, sample collected, geological characteristics, types of fossils present, collectors, and date. Includes loose inserts. Locations include Danville Bluff, Houston County, King Plantation, Perry, Satilla River, Shell Bluff, and Mill White Point.
