Abstract

The notebook documents the geological work of Harry S. Ladd in Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee, August 22 - November 3, 1941, and February 21 - March 28, 1942. Entries are dated and headed with location, followed by data from traverses (measurement, location description, latitude and longitude). Also includes colored drawings of terrain with notes and narrative descriptions of terrain. Locations include, but not limited to, Potts Mountain, Glencary, Flat Top Mountain, and Lick Mountain.
