Abstract

The notebook documents the geological work of Harry S. Ladd in Virginia, May 22 - July 17, 1941. The volume begins with an index listing page and locations. Entries are dated and list location or route traveled, followed by lists of data (measurements, latitude and longitude, and location information) as well as narrative descriptions of terrain and field work. Locations include, but are not limited to, Round Mountain, Hicksville, Sweet Springs, and Flat irons on Peters Mountain.
