Abstract

The notebook documents the geological work of Harry S. Ladd in Vitilevu, Fiji, February 10 - September 13, 1934. The entries are dated and list descriptions for F218 through F239. They include location information (landmarks and distance from), individuals with whom worked, description of geological characteristics (color and composition), and fossils present. Some descriptions are lengthy and narrative in structure. Also includes notes relating to geological history and notes relating to Fiji gold production.
