Abstract

The notebook documents the work of H. S. Ladd in Lau, Fiji, January 1 - October 18, 1934. The volume begins with a table of contents listing expenses, daily log, government officials etc., contributions, miscellaneous Fijian names, and record of collections. Daily log entries are dated and describe daily activities, work with colleagues, travel details, weather, routes traveled, field work and collecting sites, and office work.
