Abstract

The notebook documents the work of H. S. Ladd in Fiji and Tonga, April 29 - August 24, 1928. There is a table of contents listing page, itinerary, expenses, and daily log. The entries in the daily log are dated, headed with location, and narrative in structure. They describe travel details, individuals met, towns visited, geological characteristics of terrain observed, and location information. Many of the locations visited are along shorelines or quarries.
