Abstract

The notebook documents Harry S. Ladd's field work relating to geology, February 24 - June 18, 1922. The volume begins with an index, listing page number and subject matter (e.g. scientific discipline, pictures, and daily log). Entries are dated and narrative structure. They describe routes traveled, observations of terrain (color, composition), weather, sometimes additional information about location (landmarks, distance from).
