Abstract

The field book documents the work of Phillip D. Pack while in Nevada, May 28, 1968 - 1971. Entries are dated and describe type of measurements taken (e.g. thickness of pioche shale), drawings of terrain with detailed notations relating to height and composition, notes on characteristics of sandstone and shale present. Some entries are narrative in structure and discuss observations and findings for each numbered unit.
