Abstract

The notes document the work of C. Wythe Cooke in Virginia, undated. It is a list of rock formations with notes relating to presence of fossils, descriptions of geological characteristics (measurements, color, composition), and presence of specific minerals like dolomite. Locations include but are not limited to Martinsburg Shale, Chambersburg, and Stone River.
