Abstract

The volume documents the field work of Ray Bassler in Kentucky and Tennessee, 1922. Inside the front cover is a pasted insert with a list headed "succession of Mohawkian faunas in central Kentucky." The notebook contains a color key. Entries contain pasted maps with notations on the recto, and notes on the verso possibly related to pin holes, as well as extensive notes describing geological characteristics. Some entries include noted lists of descriptions, geological sections, and sketches.
